It was always something that came naturally to me, and I didn't care if I was good or not. When I was little I'd watch music videos on repeat, specifically "Who Says" by Selena Gomez and "Party in the U.S.A." by Miley Cyrus. Hannah Montana was my idol!!!!!! My sister and I would always sing together, and once we learned the harmonies to our favorite Barbie songs it was over for eeeeveryone. I learned guitar by watching YouTube videos for hours, and eventually picked up some piano since my sister took lessons. I grew up half in Minnesota and half in California, but I've been wanting to move to New York City since I was 13. When I started writing  songs, I always told people it was just a hobby. I didn't start taking myself seriously until I moved to NYC and witnessed so many people chasing after a dream that seemed impossible everywhere else. It sounds cliche, but I genuinely feel so lucky to be able to pursue something I am so deeply passionate about in a vibrant city like New York. Do I know where this is going? Absolutely not. But I always listen to my intuition, and I know this is what I'm supposed to do. I hope my music inspires you to trust your gut and take a chance!!!!!!
